Compensatory evolution promotes the emergence of morphological novelties - Investigation of ploidy level of gene deletion ancestor and compensated baker's yeast strains.

The file contains DNA content density plots of all investigated strains, along with reference strains with stable ploidy level (BY4741 haploid and BY4743 diploid strains). DNA content was measured by using SYTOX™ Green nucleic acid stain. Ploidy was determined by comparing the signal distribution of each investigated strain (green) to those of haploid or diploid reference strains (red).
