Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic
resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) has been shown to be correlated with prognosis in
head and neck squamous cell carcinoma as well as with changes in salivary
glands and the mandible. This potential has been demonstrated through numerous
studies, but these studies implement different software, either commercial or
in-house, and different scan protocols. Thus, the generalizability of the
results is not confirmed. To assist in the standardization of quantitative
metrics to confirm the generalizability of these previous studies, we're providing this data set of 15 HNSCC patients who were scanned at three time points: before the start of chemoradiotherapy, mid-treatment, and post-treatment. DCE-MRI and T1
variable flip angle images as well as relevant DICOM & clinical data are provided in this data set that can be used by all
software for comparing quantitative metrics.
