Fabio Caraffini

Associate Professor (Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing)

I am an Associate Professor within the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at De Montfort University (UK). I hold a PhD in Computer Science (De Montfort University, UK, 2014) and a PhD in Computational Mathematics (University of Jyväskylä, Finland, 2016) and I am an engineer in Electronics (BSc, University of Perugia, Italy, 2008) and Telecommunications (BSc, University of Perugia, Italy, 2011). My research interests include Intelligent Systems and Computational Intelligence, with a strong emphasis on metaheuristics for optimisation.
