I am an Associate Professor at Swansea University (UK) and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at De Montfort University (DMU, UK). I hold a PhD in Computer Science (De Montfort University, UK, 2014) and in Mathematical Information Technology (University of Jyväskylä, Finland, 2016). My research interests are in Computational Intelligence, both applied and fundamental, with a strong emphasis on Evolutionary Computation and heuristics for optimisation.
