Literature search: Parameters for CA1 model

The purpose of this document is to compile parameters from the published literature on hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cells (PCs). In some cases, where data was not available from CA1 PCs, we included related data (e.g., on ion channel biophysical properties) from other cell types. Some of these parameters will be directly incorporated into a biophysical model of a CA1 PC, while others will be used for fitting the membrane properties and responses of the model. We are particularly interested in any documented differences between CA1 PCs from young and old animals with respect to these parameters. In addition to informing our studies, we hope the information gathered here will also help other researchers wanting to model these cells.
