Droplet versus Airborne transmission
A simplified sketch to highlight the difference between droplet (>5um particles) and droplet nuclei (<5um suspended dried down particles; also conversationally known as an "aerosol") size and travel as this relates to virus transmission routes.
This graphic had its origins in the 2014/2015 Ebola virus disease epidemic in West Africa where I used it on social media in attempts to reassure the public that Ebola virus was not an airborne virus and what that meant.
