Plio-Pleistocene climate record on the Tibetan plateau (4.3 Ma to 0.8 Ma). A total of 344 samples were collected and analysed for CaCO3, grain size, TN, TOC, C/N ratio, and δ13Corg. A subset of 275 samples were also analysed for carbonate δ18Oc and δ13Cc analyses. 57 samples were analysed for Δ47 composition, which was used to estimate local mean annual air temperature.

Supplement to Cheng F. et al., Alpine permafrost could account for a quarter of thawed carbon based on Plio-Pleistocene paleoclimate analogue, Nature Communications.
