This is the complete set of X-ray microtomography images used for inter-species trabecular scaling analysis in Doube
et al. (2011).
Images were produced by scanning whole femoral heads and condyles, or 1 cm cubes cut from femoral heads and condyles, on an X-tek HMX 225 (Tring, UK), with a maximum pixel spacing of 15 µm. MD and JRH collected the specimens; MD cut the cubes; MMK did the imaging with assistance from Richie Abel of NHM London. Full details are included in the paper.
Images are spatially-calibrated 16-bit tiff stacks that will open readily in ImageJ. They have been compressed with bzip2, so will require decompression prior to loading in image processing software.
