R-code Analyses I.) and II.)

R-code for the analyses I.) and II.). In detail, in the analysis I.) the consistency of the strain effect across replicate experiments (i.e. strain-by-replicate experiment-interaction) was assessed and compared between two experimental designs. In the analysis II.) the overall effect across all four replicate experiments of both experimental designs was calculated using a meta-analysis. Furthermore, the effect size and 95% confidence intervals of each replicate experiment were assessed.
