Colony size and cognition data set

This Excel workbook contains all the data necessary to reproduce the analyses that produced the results presented in 'Social breeding impacts fitness-relevant cognitive processes in barn swallows'. The "Overall" tab in the file includes all the data on the selective attention to social information and decision-making experiments, and the data on reproductive success. The "Playback treatments" tab contains the data necessary to compare female behaviors before, during, and after the playbacks of both alarm calls and mourning dove calls. The "Metadata" tab contains explanations for the variable codes in the data.
