Dataset: High-throughput screening identifies selective synergistic drug combinations in 2D and 3D colorectal cancer cell cultures
High-throughput screening dataset generated to compare drug combination effects in 2D
and 3D culture models of three CRC cell lines (HCT-116,
HT-29 and SW-620). The combinatorial treatments investigated comprised all
pairwise combinations of five experimental targeted small molecule inhibitors (olaparib, PD0325901, palbociclib, PI-103, 5Z-7-oxozeaenol) and two approved chemotherapeutic drugs (5-FU, oxaliplatin). The dataset contains data from three consecutive screens:
1. Single-drug dose response screen (SD), where cells were treated with the drugs in single application (48h).
2D response was evaluated by assessing:

2. Combination screen (CS) where cells were treated with all the drugs in single- and all pairwise combinations in 4x4 dose matrices (48h).
