modified on 2023-02-07, 22:34 Liquid Chromatography tandem Mass Spectrometry derived Cortisone and Cortisol levels in Serum and Broncho-Alveolar Lavage Fluid of critically ill sepsis patients with and without ARDS. These are measurements of glucocorticoid concentrations (cortisol and cortisone) in the serum and broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BAL) from two clinical studies of sepsis patients admitted to the ICU, with and without Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). The two clinical studies are termed BALTI-2 sub-study (ran from 2006 - 2010) and AM-ARDS (ran from 2016 - 2019). Both studies were undertaken at in Birmingham, U.K.
