The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Malaysian Financial Instituions' Dividend Payout

The study involved 32 public listed finance companies in Malaysia as of 2017. It deployed data from annual reports and databases. In addition, the survey carried out the content analysis to measure the corporate social responsibility disclosure score, and dividend payout was calculated from the database.
