Background: The continuous and worrisome exposure to Aluminum and its effect on the development of the cerebral cortex calls for serious attention, with most research taking advantage of plant materials with important phytochemicals. The present study investigated behavioral and immunohistochemical changes in the cerebral cortex following prenatal co-administration of ethyl acetate leaf fraction of Tamarindus indica (EATI) and aluminum chloride exposure in wistar rats.
