Homozygous synonymous and non-synonymous SNVs data detected were used to generate C. nubiana protein-coding sequences. To achieve this bash script was used to replace nucleotides in the domestic goat gene sequence with corresponding C. nubiana alleles using the SNVs positions in the SNVs annotation file, provided in the zip folder
