- This is QC genotype data used in the analysis of Makombu et al "Species-informative SNP markers for characterising freshwater prawns of genus macrobrachium in Cameroon"

- The data is in plink ped/map format.

- The data includes 93 individuals and 1,814 SNPs

- The chromosomal location of the map file is based on the reference genome of the Macrobrachium nipponense (Jin et al., 2021). 

- The population groups for each individual was defined based on morphometric analysis.

- The original data (before uncleaning)  was shared by Makombu et al 2019 at : https://figshare.com/s/3af1e859f4622ea27f1d

- The 'Supplementary file 1' (.xls) includes 72 informative SNP markers that were identified in the study.
