reality, with impact spanning all sphere of human existence marked with
consequent neglect of other health related issues. The objective of the study was to assess; the level of
knowledge, attitude and practice on cervical cancer screening uptake among
university students in Kampala International University, Western Campus (KIU-WC)
in the midst of a global pandemic which has overburdened the health sector and
also constrained funding of other health issues. Methodology: The study was a
descriptive cross-sectional study among female KIU-WC students (n =
407) in western Uganda. Information was collected using a questionnaire and
descriptively presented as frequency and percentages.
