The Role of Trait Mindfulness in the Association between Loneliness and Psychological Distress

This repository contains the data sets and additional information regarding the manuscript of the same name. The aim of the study was to explore the role of trait mindfulness in the association between loneliness levels and the severity of psychological distress in a sample of adults. To investigate this, an online, cross-sectional survey was conducted in 2021 to assess self-reported loneliness, trait mindfulness and psychological distress. 

The files available include:

• The online survey in PDF format.
• The original, unedited data set (both sav and csv formats).
• The final data set that was used for all reported analyses (both sav and csv formats).
• The document "Information on included files" provides details on data coding and analyses to allow study replication.
