The Effect of Activity Context on the Language used by Parents and Children: A Scoping Review

Published on by Caitlin Holme
A scoping review was conducted to explore the relationship between the language that children and parents use and the activity that they are participating in. The review scoped existing literature in order to consider how researchers' methodological choices about how to study children's interactions might influence findings. This allowed us to scrutinise evidence and identify any gaps in our current understanding of children's real-life activities and interactions.
