Meningiomas with and without CDKN2A homozygous deletion

Published on by David Solomon

Representative scanned pathology slides from meningiomas with and without CDKN2A homozygous deletion. Included are hematoxylin and eosin stained sections and immunohistochemical stains for p16INK4a from select tumors. These were scanned on an Aperio digital slide scanner, and the .SVS files can be viewed using the freely downloadable ImageScope software from Leica Biosystems. The complete clinical and histopathologic features of the 53 meningiomas are described in detail in the following report: Tang V, et al. Loss of p16 expression is a sensitive marker of CDKN2A homozygous deletion in malignant meningiomas. Acta Neuropathologica 2023 online ahead of print Feb 1. PMID:  36723772
