Memory reactivation in slow wave sleep enhances relational learning in humans

We show that targeted memory reactivation (TMR) facilitates inferential thinking.  Applying TMR on the up-phase of the slow oscillation lead to immediate benefit, the same stimulation on the down-phase lead to an immediate detriment in this ability.​
