Insect Collectors' Code educational materials

Published on by Andrew Deans
The Insect Collectors' Code was drafted---with inspiration and some language derived from Louis Lasagna's (1964) version of the Hippocratic Oath---to facilitate awareness and discussion of the ethics of insect collecting, especially amongst entomologists-in-training (students). We also hope that the Code serves as a vehicle to instill ethical behavior in entomology more generally. In this project we provide PDF versions of a poster presentation of the Code and a foldable PocketMod version, and we avail the LaTeX source files for these PDFs.
