DREAMM Clinical Training

Published on by Angela Loyse

The DREAMM education programme on HIV-related central nervous system (CNS) infections are intended for health care workers (HCWs) and laboratory technicians working in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs) across Africa.

The DREAMM education programme aims to increase the knowledge of HCWs to effectively diagnose and treat people living with HIV (PLHIV) who present with symptoms and signs compatible with CNS infection. The DREAMM training programme includes the main causes of HIV-related CNS infection (cryptococcal meningitis, tuberculous meningitis, cerebral toxoplasmosis, bacterial meningitis) and neurosyphilis.

Additional training tools and resources can be found on our website: https://dreamm.net/resources/
