CNS embryonal tumor with PLAGL amplification

Published on by David Solomon

Representative scanned pathology slides from 6 patients with CNS embryonal tumors with PLAGL gene amplification. Included are hematoxylin and eosin stained sections and representative immunohistochemical stains from the 6 tumors. These were scanned on an Aperio digital slide scanner, and the .SVS files can be viewed using the freely downloadable ImageScope software from Leica Biosystems. The complete clinical, histopathologic, genetic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic features of these 6 cases are described in detail in the following report: Keck MK, et al. Amplification of the PLAG family genes – PLAGL1 and PLAGL2 – is a key feature of the novel tumor type CNS embryonal tumor with PLAGL amplification. Acta Neuropathologica 2022 Nov 27 online ahead of print. PMID: 36437415
