BOTTLE Plastic Substrates Database

An ongoing database developed by BOTTLE including characterization data on polymer substrates from common commercial vendors. Analyses for each polymer substrate include:

-Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)

-gel permeation chromatography (GPC)

-small-angle and wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS and WAXS)

-differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)

-thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) 

-TGA-FTIR with evolved gas analysis (EGA)

-CHNS 

-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)

-accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), high-resolution GC-MS (HRGC-MS) 

-pyrolysis GC-MS (PyGC-MS).
