Preformulation Studies with the Escherichia coli Double Mutant Heat labile Toxin Adjuvant for Use in an Oral Vaccine
Posted on 2017-02-10 - 23:38 authored by Jessica White
Double mutant heat labile (dmLT) is an adjuvant being explored for use in several candidate vaccines. Oral administration of dmLT is particularly attractive and understanding the formulation requirements for dmLT stability via the oral route is described in this work. Sensitive assays to characterize dmLT were developed and applied in the described pre-formulation experiments to investigate dmLT stability.
