Data sets used in Sytiuk et al. 2021 to build the figures and tables. Three data sets are provided.
Sphagnum traits. This dataset contains traits of Sphagnum mosses collected in five peatlands along a latitudinal gradient from northern Sweden to southern France to represent a wide range of edaphic and climate conditions in July 2018. We advise to check the Materials and methods section and Supplementary materials (Fig S1, S2, S3) of the paper for more details.
Microbial biomass and traits. This dataset contains microbial biomass (bacteria, fungi, ciliates,testate amoebae, rotifers and nematodes) and microbial traits (growth-yield, resource acquisition and stress traits) extracted from Sphagnum mosses collected in five peatlands along a latitudinal gradient from northern Sweden to southern France to represent a wide range of edaphic and climate conditions in July 2018.
Environmental data. This dataset contains enviromental and edaphic parameters for every peatland along a latitudinal gradient from northern Sweden to southern France.
