A new global anthropogenic heat estimation based on high-resolution nighttime light data
Posted on 2017-08-18 - 15:49
AH-DMSP is a global gridded dataset of annual mean anthropogenic heat and its spatial resolution for the entire planet is 1×1 km2. Tagged image file format(TIFF) and network common data form(NetCDF) are provided in the repository. For the TIFF formats of AH-DMSP, its tfw format file is about spatial information of longitude and latitude for corresponding file. These data can be processed by GIS software, Matlab, Ncl or R etc.. The uploaded data includes AH-DMSP at 1992, 2001 and 2010 and is stored in uint16, which can be converted to annual mean anthropogenic flux(wm-2) by a factor 0.1.
