Tova N. Williams

Tova N. Williams completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Fiber and Polymer Science (Chemistry minor) in 2018 from North Carolina State University. Her dissertation research focused on approaches to the design of sustainable (less toxic) permanent hair dyes. She is a 2015 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow and a 2014 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Initiative for Maximizing Student Diversity Graduate Scholar. Tova is also a 2014 graduate of North Carolina State University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry with Summa Cum Laude honors and University Scholars Program distinction. Beyond her academic studies, Tova is committed to K-12 science outreach and mentoring young women interested in pursuing STEM careers.
