TJYD obtained his PhD at Aix-Marseille University (France) in continuum modeling of laser-matter interaction with Prof. T. Itina. After developing further the theory of periodic structure formation with Dr Jörn Bonse (BAM, Berlin), he obtained a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship in the group of Prof. N.M. Bulgakova (Hilase, Prague) to bridge the classical theory of intense laser-matter interaction (Prof. Bulgakova) with time-dependent quantum dynamics [Prof. Angel Rubio (MPSD, Hamburg)]. He is now in charge of the success of the Marie Curie RISE "ATLANTIC" project at the HiLASE Centre. Since 2021, he leads the group of Ultrafast Photonics at FZU Institute of Physics. Since 2024, he joined the IT4I supercomputer national facility to work on quantum computing.
