Syed Imon Rizvi was born in Karachi, Pakistan and is a graduate of University of Karachi and Virtual University of Pakistan from were he got his masters degree in Business Administration. In 2000 he moved to the states where he spent 7 crucial years in Saint Louis. During this time he pursued his writing, evolved his art, and developed a unique view of the world which permeates his work. He began his journey into poetry in 2005 with a piece about war which has since been appreciated by authors and readers alike. In his writing and his life Syed Imon Rizvi stresses friendship and harmony amongst people of all religions, ethnicities and walks of life. As a practicing Muslim he holds dear the idea of compassion and tolerance. His poetry books, titled "Outspoken", "A Bold Stroke", "Assalam-o-Alaikum O'Universe" & "Take your freedom" are about Social, Ethical and Political issues regarding to our times. He has written and compiled many other publications which are available at Amazon.com.
