Mr Stephen Magor Ellah obtained his B.A. (Hons) in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar and earned his M.A. in English (Language) from the University of Ibadan where he is currently studying for his Ph.D. in English (Pragmatics). He took up a teaching appointment with the University of Calabar as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies in April, 2013, and has now risen to the rank of Lecturer II. Mr. Stephen Magor Ellah teaches Discourse Analysis and Pragmatics, Semantics, Stylistics, English as a Second Language, Business Writing, Basic Grammar and Composition; and Topical Issues in English Language Studies. He has supervised 6 B.A. long essays. He has also served as the co-ordinator of pre-degree English. Mr. Stephen Magor Ellah’s main area of interest is Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis.
