Retired - Computers hobby (Atomic and molecular physics)

Harrison, OH 45030-8426

Served 4 years in the Air Force in Turkey and Germany. Attended VPI for 2 years. Maintained and programmed computers for NCR for 3 years. Maintained and programmed computers for RCA aboard the tracking ship USS Arnold for 3 years; sailing completely around the world tracking missile and spacecraft insertion into space and reentry into the atmosphere. Attended Miami University 2 years to complete a degree in Applied Science (1968). Worked for Miami University in operations, research consultation, programming and systems analysis before retiring as Assistant Director for Computer Operations in 1993. When I graduated from high school in 1954, Atomic Structure became my only hobby as I believed that the atom models being taught violated the natural laws of the universe. I was convinced that the existing precise radii measurements of atoms should be enough to identify the precise physical structure of all atoms. This resulted in a 50 year “Voyage of Reason”. The results are online.
