I began my career as a penetration tester for the military and the defence industry, where I perfected my skills in identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities. This experience laid the groundwork for my subsequent transition to cyber risk management in the finance sector. After a decade of practical experience, I re-joined the academic world. I pursued and obtained my Ph.D., MSc, and BA (Hons) from the University of Wales, marking a significant milestone in my academic journey. My postdoctoral path led me to several prestigious institutions, including Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge, MIT, and the University of North Carolina. I was a Prince of Wales Innovation Scholar at the University of Wales and a Fulbright Scholar at MIT and the University of North Carolina.
