Paul is currently an Assistant Professor within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, UCD and is also a part of the Energy Institute.
Paul completed his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering in University College Dublin in 2009 and 2013, respectively. His doctoral thesis was entitled "Reactive Power from Distributed Resources: Characterisation and Utilisation of the Resource", which was completed under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Keane.
His research interests are in power system structural analysis, optimization and visualization.
