Muhammad Asif Khan received the B.Sc. degree from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila, Pakistan, in 2013, in telecommunication engineering. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2019 at Qatar University. His doctoral research focuses on novel methods to improve the QoS in wireless LANs involving machine learning. He has been a Researcher Assistant with the Qatar Transportation and Traffic Safety Center and the Qatar Mobility Innovation Center (QMIC). He has also been involved in several research projects funded by the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), Ashghal Qatar, and Maersk Oil. He has published several articles and conference papers. His current research interests include optimization, machine learning, deep learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
