Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Arkivum Ltd. Previously research leader at the University of Southampton IT Innovation Centre. Current research includes applying digital preservation, data archiving and research data management techniques for organisations that need to protect and get value from their digital assets. Sectors include Life Sciences, Scientific Research and GLAM. Current work includes the strategy, design, implementation, testing, training and support of Arkivum's SaaS solution for Long Term Digital Preservation. I am a subject matter expert in standards and good practice such as FAIR, RDM, GxP compliance (e.g. ALCOA+ data integrity), Digital Preservation (e.g. OAIS, DPC RAM) and Trusted Digital Repositories (e.g. CoreTrustSeal). General skils include business analysis, data and process modelling, enterprise architecture, information security, risk management, SaaS and serverless computing, sofware simulation, cost modelling and data processing.
