Mary Frances Lembo

Research Librarian - Senior (Earth sciences; Environmental sciences)

Mary Frances Lembo is a senior research librarian at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. At the Lab, Mary Frances provides information retrieval, synthesis and analysis of open-source and proprietary information databases in support projects for PNNL scientists and staff. Subject areas of focus include chemistry, engineering, materials science, national security and physics. She assists customers with a variety of information organization and management needs. She also provides training and instruction on a variety of products, including EndNote, SciFinder, Web of Science and others. Prior to coming to PNNL, she worked as a science reference librarian at the University of New Orleans. She received Masters of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington in Seattle and has taken post-baccalaureate classes in geology and chemistry. Her new goal is to become proficient in using various data visualization tools. She is a kidney donor and a living donor advocate.
