Leonidas G. Ioannou is an environmental exercise physiologist. His research focuses on the effects of different environmental factors on human health and performance. He previously participated in several European and international funded projects where he had the opportunity to collect data across many countries around the globe, leading to the development of national and international legislations. He has also collaborated with reputable organizations, including the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization, on projects aiming to enhance human health and wellbeing.
