I am a geoscientist working on paleoenvironmental sciences. My research focuses on understanding mainly Quaternary environmental and climatic systems by analyzing biological, sedimentological, and geochemical indicators. Thanks to my training, I was involved in the ecology and malacology fields (BSc.) which allowed me to engage in geosciences (MSc.), interpreting changes in ecosystems through the paleoecological analysis of biological proxies. Furthermore, during my master's degree, I developed expertise in paleolimnology, geochronology, geochemistry, and climate change. I have understood that to forecast future environmental changes; we must look for clues in the past. Therefore, during my Ph.D., I am researching sea-level changes during interglacial climatic intervals (i.e., MIS 11, MIS 5, and Holocene).
