I'm a Brazilian biologist with a doctoral degree in ecology. I have focus in ichthyology, with an emphasis on natural history of Neotropical fish, and ecotourism. I acted as a consultant of the United Nations Development Program in the Brazilian Biodiversity Program. During my academic training I received scholarships from Brazilian development agencies CAPES and CNPq. Between 2001 and 2022 I held the position of full professor at the University Anhanguera-Uniderp. I have been working in research, extension and conservation actions involving freshwater fish, mainly in the Pantanal and Atlantic Forest. I have a history of photograph and video production, with collaboration of projects supported by non-governmental organizations, privative companies and government funding agencies.
