I'm an educator and researcher and I study the interaction and interdependencies of numerous cognitive processes through the lens of multiple theoretical backgrounds using complementary methodologies. Teaching As a cognitive scientist and memory researcher, I bring the knowledge of the learning processes that occur at both the biological and psychological levels into my classroom. In practice, that means that I focus on learning that is engaged, both in terms of student interest and student experience. Research I'm a broadly trained psychological researcher and at the highest level, I try to understand neural and cognitive interactions amongst different mental processes. More specifically, my research falls under the purview of cognitive and social psychology as well as neuroscience, meaning that depending on the audience I can frame my research from multiple domains and perspectives.
