Isabella Bower

PhD Candidate & Research Outputs Coordinator (Psychophysiology; Architectural design)

Isabella is a PhD candidate with the School of Architecture and Built Environment and the Cognitive Neuroscience Unit at Deakin University. Her research crosses architecture with theories and techniques from psychology and neuroscience to understand how the design of built environments impacts on emotion. She currently works in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne having previously worked with the Office of the Victorian Government Architect. Isabella was awarded the inaugural John Paul Eberhard Fellowship by the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture and was the 2019 President for the Students of Brain Research (SOBR) Network.
