My main goal is to take part in international research projects in cognitive-neuroscience. I would like to exploration the possibilities offered by the interfacing of science, new technologies and art, and in their use toward a better understanding of human cognition. My interdisciplinary project focuses on the embodied and reciprocal nature of human interactions that encompasses neural, behavioral and social levels of analysis. It seeks new conceptual and methodological approaches towards a better understanding of multiscale coordination dynamics. Methodologically, my work is at the cross-road of neurodynamics and social psychology. It uses a new neuroimaging techniques called hyperscanning which allows the recording of two people's brain activity while they are interacting. This allows to investigate relationships between synchronizations at both neural, behavioral and social levels. My first results asses the emergence of inter-brain synchronizations when two people enter in interactional synchrony through reciprocal and spontaneous imitation. This project continued through analyses of intra-individual neuromarkers, biophysics numerical simulations of two human brains in interaction, and a new hyperscanning study involving people with Asperger syndrome. I am currently working on multiscale coordination dynamics through the combination of theoretical modeling of non-linear systems and a new experimental platform of human-machine interface. In parallel, I participates in various projects melting design and art. I also do scientific journalism for radio and public journals.
