Dr Gabriella Kiss is a professional scenography designer. She obtained an MA degree in Scenography in 2007. Since 2013 she has been teaching at the Scenography Department at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, as a Lecturer in Scenography. She completed her doctoral degree in autumn 2019. She is an active practitioner, and she has been continuously researching the boundaries of scenography and questioning how she could expand its frames. Besides engaging in the practice, her practice-based research has focused on non-theatrical spaces, performances in urban public spaces, and participatory theatre.
