Fabien Léonard

I joined BAM (Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing) in Berlin in August 2014 as a Project Leader in materials science and characterisation, specialising in computed tomography and X-ray scattering. I obtained a MSc in Materials Engineering and a MRes in Materials Science in 2006. I completed my PhD in Materials then joined the Henry Moseley X-ray Imaging Facility as a Post-doctoral Research Associate (2010-2014). My research interests lie in the use of X-ray computed tomography to investigate microstructure-property-performance relationships and to provide new measurements for 3D materials science and characterisation.
