Graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He founded various companies since graduation and his businesses span from corporate finance, business consultancy, design consultancy, HR, publication and technology. In 1999, David founded iProperty. iProperty was a property portal and an application service provider selling proprietary software in the property sector and industry. iProperty secured in principle approval to list on the Mainboard of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) on October 2000. In 2001, he founded ManpowerCorp International and subsequently founded PeopleWorldwide Consulting in 2004. In 2008, he founded CapitalCorp Partners which is a boutique corporate finance firm dealing in corporate merger and acquisition and corporate advisory. In 2015, he founded Straits Trades Incorporated which is a corporate finance advisory firm.
Conferred a PhD by Charisma University in 2020.
