Teaching, research, and the LA Kings are my passion. For 8+ years, I've been teaching at Antioch University, Santa Barbara, California and previously at Santa Barbara City College as an Adjunct Faculty. Courses I've taught include the following: Introduction to Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Fundamentals of Public Speaking, Selling Yourself Through Speech, Personal Development, Interpersonal Communication in a Mediated World, and Social Media.
My current research interest is the integration of technology and education to enhance teaching and student learning outcomes. The purpose of my current study is to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic portfolio (e-portfolio) assessment systems in contributing to student-learning by taking into account user's technological abilities and attitudes, alongside the technological parameters of software systems.
