Cheong Peng Au-Yong

Au Yong Cheong Peng is an associate professor in Department of Building Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. He holds a PhD degree in Facilities Management. His research interest is in facilities management and building maintenance. He has published several articles in reputable journals. For instance, his recent publications include “Optimal inspection frequency to mitigate the risk of building system failure” in Structural Engineering and Mechanics, “Participative mechanisms to improve office maintenance performance and customers' Satisfaction” in Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities, etc. Meanwhile, he has been reviewer for several renowned journals such as Habitat International, Building and Environment, Journal of Engineering Research, Community Development Journal, Facilities, etc. Currently, he is the member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia and the editorial board member of Journal of Surveying, Construction and Property (JSCP).
