Bruno Fernando da Silva Reis

I hold a Medical Degree from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2007) and completed Medical Residencies in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of UFJF (2013) and in Palliative Medicine at the Hospital of the São Paulo State Public Servant (2014). I earned a Master's Degree in Public Health through the Academic Master's Program at the National School of Public Health Sergio Arouca / Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (ENSP/Fiocruz) in 2023, with research focused on oncological palliative care. Currently, I work as a Palliative Care Physician at the Teaching Hospital of the Federal University of Pelotas (HE-UFPel) – a branch of the Brazilian Hospital Services Company (Ebserh) – assigned to the Home Care and Palliative Care Unit (UADCP), and as a Palliative Care Physician at the CuidATIVA Unit (UFPel) – Regional Center for Palliative Care. My areas of interest include: Palliative Medicine, Palliative Care, Oncological Palliative Care, Health Education (Medical Education in Palliative Medicine), and End-of-Life Bioethics.
